I love this quote by Saint Francis and when I have a gloomy day, I draw him and his sunbeam drives away my shadows.
Its Sunday and I slept in until 9am after an early night and I decided to start working on a virtual zine not to be printed this year but to go in the drawing section of my website. However, after a strong coffee and two decafs I pushed on a did all thirty drawings for the zine.
This zine is different to my others as the only text is on the cover and this blurb for the virtual inner sleeve. I was hoping to print it but I am still posting out copies of my previous zine the Saints to galleries and others mainly overseas.
In this zine there are mainly portraits of Saint Francis, Mary MacKillop, my mum, me and Yannick Soyez my dear brotherly friend. I was going to scan it all in today and send it to Ross my web guy but I feel I don’t want to burn out and it shall give me something to do tomorrow.

I love this quote by the Australian saint Mary Mackillop and when I feel sad, I try to make others happy around me and then it cheers me up.
