I love this quote by the Dalai Lama and when I googled the words kind/quotes to go with my performance photo and video I found this quote by the Dalai Lama and it really spoke to me. I agree that its always possible to be kind but its even more important if the situation is difficult as it diffuses the situation.

I love this quote by Maya and I agree that it’s not what people did and said that influenced me but how they made me feel and that was particularly from my teachers at school, university lecturers and spiritual teachers.
In conclusion I feel that me making performances with neon’s is original as I have seen other artists using neon’s in their art such as the conceptual artist Bruce Nauman but not with people holding them but I might be wrong. The neon and a big A0 photo of the performance shall be going to South Korea soon to my artist friend Hansol Lim who I exhibited with about ten years ago at Holly Gallery in Queensland. The art shall be with other art including another photo, two art DVDs, a printed Mary MacKillop t-shirt and lots of small drawings and my initial idea for the title is The Numinous or Spirituality. Before the show which hasn’t been finalised yet we are sending each other art as a mail art project.
