Hansol Lim and my Art (Luke Foster) : Mail Art Project to be Eventually Shown in a Gallery in South Korea

“My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.”

-Dalai Lama

I shall keep this text to go with this video and photos very simple and short as the video has an artist talk and that articulates what I want to say.

I just want to thank Hansol Lim and Yannick Soyez and I am very grateful to both of them. Yannick for shooting the video and photos and for Hansol for collaborating with me and organising gallery applications in Korea. I don’t think I shall go to Korea if we get a venue but let Hansol set it up for me and document it for my website.

In conclusion the neon performances included two words and one said kind and the other altruism. Both words are intrinsically linked and to be kind creates an atmosphere of calm and happiness around you I feel and altruism is about sharing kindness with those around you.

Thanks to the Poster Factory in Marrickville Sydney for printing my A0 photos and I must have had more than twenty printed over the years. Great quality, inexpensive and quick turnaround.

I need to go to the post office soon to get a bigger box to send the art to Hansol and over the next week or so shall add as many drawings as I can make.
