For quite a few months now I have been having a banana smoothie once a day usually with two frozen bananas and sometimes a scoop of organic protein powder mostly once I get home from my swim at the pool on weekdays with lactose free milk as I am lactose intolerant. Sometimes I have it after dinner.

I have been struggling with my weight after injuring my foot beach walking about a year ago and used to beach walk two hours every morning seven days a week. Now I only do 45 minutes a day walking to and from the bus stop ten minutes each way and ten laps in the pool which is about 25 minutes.
I have been a vegetarian for about five years and enjoy it. And sometimes in the past.
Just recently I have started seeing a dietician named Gabi and it’s easy to remember her name as I think of Gabi Hollows from the Fred Hollows Foundation: Fred’s partner who has survived Fred and still plays a part in the foundation that restores sight to the poor for just $25 Australian dollars an operation.

I love this quote and I agree that once I became a vegetarian again, I became more mindful about my psychological food too which has made me more balanced and relaxed but I still have a way to go.

I agree with this quote but just because you are vegetarian it doesn’t mean it’s easy to lose weight as I still struggle with my weight but I mainly eat a healthy balanced diet.
In conclusion I just ate a royal gala apple and an apple a day keeps the doctor away but so does a banana smoothie. Apart from the Fred Hollows Foundation there are many other important charities in Australia and Aid agencies including: World Vision Australia, Australian Red Cross, Caritas Australia, CARE Australia, Oxfam, Wesley Mission, Momentum Collective, Vinnies and Doctors Without Borders. A lot of them are branches of international agencies.
