The Final Essay in Am I Going in Circles? / I Have Gratitude for Everyone Who Has Guided, Humoured, Protected and Educated Me During its Writing/ You are all Angels and Saints

“Dealing with complexity is an inefficient and unnecessary waste of time, attention and mental energy. There is never any justification for things being complex when they could be simple. “

Edward de Bono

I love the quotes I use by Edward De Bono who has sadly passed and particularly his idea of lateral thinking which means thinking outside the box to solve complex problems.

I need to thank Austin Macauley for publishing my first book Mothers Love and they did an expert job.

“If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”

 Dalai Lama

I love this quote by the Dalai Lama about the benefits of compassion and I have a long way to go to follow this, sage advice.

I want to particularly thank my friends in America, my Australian protectors and everyone in my local and global community.

I especially have gratitude for the sense of community I feel in my sleepy beach side town where I feel happy and have only been here less than a year so far.

Now for a balance of female role models who have inspired me deeply during the writing of this book.

“Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world.”

 Malala Yousafzai

I think Malala the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate is one of the most inspiring people in history and she was awarded the prize at the age of 17: talk about amazing. I am most impressed in what she does for girls and women in the developing world around the issue of education.

“Whatever troubles may be before you, accept them bravely, remembering Whom you are trying to follow. Do not be afraid. Love one another, bear with one another, and let charity guide you all your life. God will reward you as only He can.”

Mary MacKillop

Mary MacKillop is my favourite female saint and saint Francis my favourite male saint.

In conclusion perhaps this book is a bit long but it’s mainly because I tried to put lots of images in with it to make it quite long over twice as long as Mothers Love. Also, like Mothers Love I mainly dedicate it to my dear late mum who I considered a living saint.

Compassion neon by me which sums up the Dalai Lamas philosophy in one word
