Essay by Luke Foster
“I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death.”
Leonardo da Vinci
I think one of the biggest problems facing humanity today is pollution of nature and apart from to, much CO2 omissions the pollution of plastic waste in our oceans kills millions of sea life creatures every
day and is as bad as fishing for whales and over fishing the oceans.
I thought about these ideas as at the back of my mind I was about to think of the Leonardo Da Vinci drawing of a man with his arms outstretched.
In conclusion the best way to reduce these problems is to reduce C02 omissions and create skimmer boats to troll for the huge plastic fields in our oceans and devise ways to break the plastic down or have it recycled as park benches or benches at bus stops or throughout the community.
“Industrial pollution and the discarding of plastic waste must be tackled for the sake of all life in the ocean.”
– Sir David Attenbourgh, renowned British naturalist and documentary filmmaker.
However, my big mistake in this essay is that I only had male role models. If we had equal number of role models then the world would be more balanced.
