Working Pro Bono With, My Art to Encourage the World Leaders and CEOs to Make Orphanages in the Developing World

Essay by Luke Foster

“The Lord never tires of forgiving. It is we who tire of asking for forgiveness.”

Pope Francis

Many years ago, when I was in Chennai Southern India I was as fruity as can be as I wasn’t taking my meds but eating vegetarian food and only meat once. I had a few beers on the first few days and then stopped.

I had an idea to help the street children who’s, lives were horrific and they must suffer ten times more than I have suffered in my long life.

However, India is very full on mainly the dangerous roads, but help them from a distance.

I bought them paper and pens and got some Indian people to help me and they got an Indian lady to cook a them a huge pot of soup. It was probably the nicest meal they had ever had in their entire short life and every child loves drawing with colour pens. Also drawing for people with trauma is very healing. I loved walking around praising them for some of the most beautiful drawings I had ever seen.

I had the idea of taking the drawings back to Australia and having a fundraiser for them in a Sydney gallery. But there was a mix up and it fell through.

However, I hope it will be an idea for world leaders to follow and only cost very little for you and make millions of dollars, perhaps even billions of dollars to go towards building orphanages all over the developing world.

I am very sad as I only kept one but sent it off years ago to some world leader or someone, I can’t remember but I had it up on my wall for years. I feel guilty that I didn’t buy it.

Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.”

“If you have to choose between being kind and being right, choose being kind and you will always be right.”

Dalai Lama

Kindness is always the answer.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama

In conclusion I still don’t have a balance of role models who are male and female. Big love and respect to world leaders, CEOs and everyone around the globe and India especially.
